Joshua Reaffirms on Controversial "Kill" Remarks Aimed at Paul

Anthony Joshua stood by his controversial remarks about wanting to “kill” his opponent during a press event in Miami on midweek.

These statements were first made on Tuesday when the boxer was questioned if he would show restraint against Paul, responding that “if I can kill you, I'll kill”.

But the 36-year-old fighter, explained his mindset: “This is what I do, we fight. We have a license that permits extreme violence.

“I understand many people don't comprehend it but this is what my job is. I love what I do. The outcome, happens - provided that my hand is raised, that's what's paramount, respectfully.”

He stated, “That's just the psychology we have to have as warriors. I don't know if other fighters think that way. Perhaps they're a bit more reserved. The way my mind works. When you're in the squared circle, it's a dangerous thing. Anything can happen.”

Jake Paul's Fiery Response
