Passionate followers of the pop star are demanding that a person who leaped a barrier and grabbed the performer during yesterday's Wicked: For Good premiere be detained or deported from Singapore.

A widely shared video reveals the individual from Australia bypassing photographers and rushing toward Grande while the cast made its way down a promenade surrounded by supporters.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo immediately wrested the shocked performer away from Mr Wen, who was seen being removed of the gathering by guards.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram recently that he was "let go after being arrested", though court documents indicated that he was due to appear on the next day. It is unknown if he was formally accused.

Pattern of Event Invasions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Troll Most Hated", has disrupted a concert or event. His Instagram feed includes clips of him disturbing other high-profile occasions, including rushing the platform at the artist's Sydney show in recently and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers performance in the same location last year.

"Steps should be implemented applied against him as this is obviously a criminal offence," commented an Instagram user, in a message to a video Mr Wen posted of his act.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" one Instagram user remarked.

Followers Show Disapproval Over the Star's Well-being

Several supporters criticized Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had spoken of suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder after a suicide bomb attack at the conclusion of her May 2017 performance in Manchester, killing 22 people and injuring many.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" said a further comment on Instagram.

Several fans also criticised guards at the Thursday event for not being sufficiently alert; while different individuals called for digital services to remove Mr Wen's content.

Aftermath and Event Details

In videos circulating online, Grande looked shocked when she was touched by the intruder. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed consoling her while Mr Wen was removed by guards.

Grande has not issued a statement on the situation, and the rest of the event proceeded as normal.

Hundreds of Singapore fans had queued up to meet the cast of Wicked

Many of attendees had congregated in a crowd of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good regional launch in a Singapore shopping center, including several who had stood in line for as long as a significant duration before it started.

The motion picture, to be released on 21 November, is the follow-up of a two-part version of the well-known Broadway and West End show Wicked, which revolves around the unexpected relationship between two distinct witches.

The production itself is a adaptation of the twentieth-century book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was dressed in a champagne pink sparkling outfit at the event while Erivo, who plays the Elphaba, wore a black tube gown decorated with roses.

They were alongside cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the most successful movie of last year in the UK, and received 10 Oscar nominations, earning several for outstanding attire and artistic direction.
