AC Shadows Unveils Unexpected Attack on Titan Collaboration for Holiday Season

In a surprising crossover event that breaks conventional expectations, the game developer has revealed an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, including free additional story content for Shadows players.

Strange Questline Uncovered

According to the formal release, "A mysterious meeting pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where rumors of prohibited rituals and terrifying changes resonate through the obscurity." The plot features a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a hidden group.

The questline centers on "strange trials and a monstrous foe" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Changes

The teaser highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser concludes with a dramatic sequence showing a character, likely the captive, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Rewards and Extra Features

Players who finish the quest will acquire an exclusive katana in addition to numerous objects concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:
